To Berniece and the boys,

I was so very sad to see of Joe's passing, but was happy to have had the opportunity to get to the funeral home to pay my respects to you all the other day.

So many years have passed and yet I can remember as if they were yesterday, all the good times that my folks had with you - Berniece - and Joe, and the fun times shared between all us kids.

It was so ironic that Joe's passing would bring us together as it did the other day, especially since I had just been going through some old photos the week Joe died and came across ones taken at our house when you were over playing cards with my folks. Such happy, memorable times.

May God watch over you all and hold you a little more tightly during these very difficult times. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers in the days, weeks and months to come. God bless your entire family now and always.
