Henry M. Anderson, 3 year old son of Darrin and Sarah (Wilson) Anderson, died Monday, November 2, 2009, after a brief illness at Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. Born on June 23, 2006 in Oshkosh, Henry enjoyed almost daily visits to the Menominee Park Zoo. There, he would watch the feeding and care given to the various animals. Henry loved to put together a puzzle of the United States with pictures of animals on each state. Henry knew where each state went, named the animal, and then imitated it. Reading gave much pleasure to Henry, such as "If You Give a Moose a Muffin," and making up stories where Henry would incorporate himself in the story. He was a Star Wars fan with Mickey Mouse a close second.
Left to cherish Henry's memory are his loving parents, "Mum" and "Pa"; a one year old brother, Jack; grandparents, Patti Wilson of Oshkosh; Albert and Dorothy Anderson of Princeton, Illinois; great-grandmother, Wilma Wilson of Oshkosh; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; a godmother, Julie Anderson; and godfather, Ryan Anderson. Proceeding Henry in death is his great grandfather, Eugene Wilson; great-great grandparents, Henry Kromm Sr. (who was Henry's namesake) and Bessie Kromm; and an uncle, Alan Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Church Avenue, with Reverend Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Interment will take place in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the church. We were so saddened to hear of Henry's death. Words just seem to be so inadequate to express the sadness, but we want you to know that you are in our prayers. We have good memories of Henry visiting the zoo. He will always be with us in our hearts.

Dear Darrin and Sarah,
We have never met but My heart aches with yours. I understand all too well your suffering. I lost my Lainey age 4 on October 18. She had a very sudden unexplainable illness as well. So many people lifted my family up in prayer and I know so many are lifting up your names as well. Cling to your faith. Know that God is Great and that our babies are in the arms of Jesus. I will pray for you and keep you in my thoughts daily. Romans 8:26 is very special to me. God bless all of you.
