     Thomas C. Krumenauer, age 76, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday morning, July 27, 2010, at Bethel Home.  Born on July 20, 1934, in Oshkosh, to Carlton and Lona (Behnke) Krumenauer, Tom married Doris Woehlke on June 29, 1957 in Oshkosh.

     A skilled draftsman, Tom was employed as a Construction Estimator/Project Manager for Central Contractors of Oshkosh, O.J. Boldt Construction of Appleton, and Consolidated Construction of Marquette, Michigan; was a Construction Draftsman/Field Inspector for McMahon Engineering, Omni Engineering, Arthur Engineering, Crispell-Snyder Engineering, and H.N.T.B. Engineering; and was a Field Inspector/Estimator on the Deep Tunnel Project in Milwaukee.

     Work commitments took Tom to projects throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Upper Peninsula, Virginia, California, Iowa, Kentucky, Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma, and in Mexico and Saudi Arabia.   Having proudly served his country with  the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in France from 1955-1957, Tom was a member of Military Veterans Museum, where he served as a Docent, and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church,.  Tom was a long-time Hunter Safety Instructor and an avid rifle and pistol target shooter.  He was a Past President of the Oshkosh Rifle and Pistol Club.

     Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 53 years, Doris Krumenauer, of Oshkosh; a son, Scott Krumenauer of Oshkosh; two daughters, Jody (Jeffery) Whitworth of Oshkosh and Traci (Pat) Thome of Hartland, Wisconsin; three grandchildren, Mekensey Schnyder, Jared Thome, and Spencer Thome; a sister-in-law, Ethel Krumenauer; two aunts, Florence Hamilton and Ruth Krumenauer; a niece and nephew, Mike and Susan Sweet; other nieces, nephews, and cousins;  and his faithful dog, "Chummy," Shadeau.  Preceding Tom in death are his parents and a brother, Robert Krumenauer.

     Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 30, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. in Lake View Memorial Park Chapel, with Reverend Ralph Hanusa officiating.  A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Friday from 12 Noon until service time at the chapel.  Expressions of sympathy may be given to "Fields of Honor" Military Veterans Museum or the Oshkosh Area Humane Society in Tom's memory.  Please visit www.seefeldfuneral.com to send online condolences to the family.  A special "Thank You" to the Bethel Home nursing staff and food staff of 1 West for their kindness and compassion to our father and family.
