Steve Kwiatkowski
As far back as I can remember, I wanted to be a funeral director. Growing up in Redgranite, the Hempel’s, who owned the funeral home at that time, were friends of our family. Our family would help Ray and Louise Hempel in any way we could. Ray would let me cut the grass at the funeral home, help wash cars and, after funerals, he would let me help him deliver flowers. I admired both Ray and Louise for how down to earth, compassionate and caring they were, and how they treated people at one of the worst times of their lives. My wish was always to be available and serve people by the golden rule as they did.
Steve and his wife Denise have recently relocated to Random Lake, WI.
