Ada R. Stark, age 96, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning, July 7, 2006 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on September 16, 1909 in New London to William and Emma (Krueger) Rehbein. Ada married Charles C. Stark on November 12, 1932 and he preceded in death on May 15, 1989.
Ada was an office secretary for various banks and accounting firms in the Milwaukee area before being employed by the Law Office of Eric William Passmore for 30 years. She enjoyed oil painting, poetry writing, and some sports. Ada was a former member of St. John Lutheran Church in New London; St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Milwaukee; Epiphany Lutheran Church in Milwaukee; and was a current member of Christ Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Survivors include one sister, Anita Manley of Green Lake, Wisconsin, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Ada in death are her husband, parents, 11 half brothers: Walter, Ben, Oscar, Herbert, E.A., Arthur, Bill, Edwin, Leonard, Elmer, and Marvin.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend Eric Quinney-Burnard officiating. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park. A time of visitation and support will be held on Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. A memorial is being established.
