Aileen M. Taborsky died on March 4, 2006, at Peabody Manor in Appleton. She was born in Klevenville, Wisconsin, to Terence and Catherine (Domini) Mackesey on April 12, 1911. Aileen married Gerald J. Taborsky on July 7, 1932, in Madison, Wisconsin. Gerald preceded her in death on October 26, 1984.


Three children survive Aileen: Ann (Patrick) Egan of Appleton, Susan of Madison, and Gerald Jr. (Margaret) of Seattle, Washington. Survivors also include eight grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.


Preceding Aileen in death were her parents, six sisters and two brothers.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2006, at St. Edward Church in Mackville, Wisconsin, with Father Charles Brooks officiating. Visitation will be held at St. Edward Church from 10:30 a.m. until the beginning of Mass.


The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the School Sisters of Notre Dame, 13105 Watertown Plank Road, Elm Grove, WI 53122-2291.
