Alan J. Kohfeldt, 78, passed away in Oshkosh, WI surrounded by his family on June 29, 2026. He was born in Neenah, WI, to Henry and Loretta Kohfeldt on December 17, 1947.
After graduating high school, Alan went on to serve in the United States Navy during Vietnam. After his service he worked at Neenah Foundry for over 30 years.
Alan married Kay Lynn Wendland on September 2, 1972, and together they raised a son, Kevin. Alan loved to go duck hunting and sturgeon spearing with his father in his youth, and later in life always made time to watch the Brewers play. He was actively involved in Immanuel Lutheran Church, singing in the choir and playing Dartball. He will be remembered most for his love of family.
Alan is survived by his loving wife, Kay Lynn Kohfeldt; son, Kevin (Sandy) Kohfeldt; grandchildren, Allison, Lucas and Masen. He is further survived by his sister, Janet (David) Tomczak as well as many nieces, nephews and other friends and family.
He is preceded by his parents, Henry and Loretta Kohfeldt.
A celebration of life will be held this summer, details will be updated as soon as possible.
