Alice C. Eichman, age 85, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday, June 20, 2006 at Bethel Home. She was born on January 22, 1921 in Oshkosh to Conrad and Mary (Paffenroth) Benner. Alice married Gordon R. Eichman on January 3, 1943 in Oshkosh and he preceded her in death on November 23, 1997. Alice was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and family was a very important part of her life.
Survivors include a son, Gerald (Jacqueline) Eichman of North Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, Micheal (Deborah) Berry, Kathleen (Troy) DeBruin, Jennifer (Shaun) McClure, Rebecca (Mike) Wilcox; five great-grandchildren, Gerek DeBruin, Edwin Berry, Lauryn Wilcox, Anna Wilcox, Rowan McClure; four sisters, Jane Kaufmann, Lorraine Freiberg, Betty Loechelt, Mary Ann (Sonny) Jungwirth; two brothers-in-law, Robert Eichmann and Clifford (Helen) Eichman; and a sister-in-law, Joanne Benner. Preceding Alice in death are her husband, parents, one daughter, Shirley Berry, a brother, Milton Benner, and a sister, Helen Kinderman.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 26, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend David Pagel officiating. Entombment will be at Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and support will be held on Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
