Anita I. Pribbernow, age 87, of Oshkosh, died Saturday morning, July 30, 2005 at Bethel Home. She was born on December 20, 1917 in the Township of Black Wolf to Fred and Alma (Sonnenberg) Bergman. On November 7, 1936 Anita married Albert Hoernke and he preceded her in death on August 8, 1984. She later married Robert Pribbernow on July 12, 1986 and he preceded her in death on September 16, 2000.
Anita was employed by SNC Manufacturing Company as an assembler before her retirement. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the VPS. She was also a member of Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary #17. Anita enjoyed sewing quilts and gardening.
Survivors include one granddaughter: Michelle Culver of White Lake, Wisconsin; one great-grandson: Brett Culver of White Lake, Wisconsin; one nephew: Adrian (Bessie) Laude of Berlin; two nieces: Gloria (Don) Schumacher of Van Dyne; and Cheryl Laude of Oshkosh. Preceding Anita in death are her husbands; one son: Thomas Hoernke; one grandson; and one sister: Viola Williams.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 at 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Ralph Hanusa officiating. Interment will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in Black Wolf Township. A time of visitation and support will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Anita's family would appreciate memorials to Peace Lutheran Church.
