Ardell Leona Hansen, age 99 of Oshkosh was called to her heavenly home on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Park View Health Center. She was born September 28, 1910, the daughter of Hugh and Otellia (Sommerfield) Roberts in Randolph. Ardell attended nursing school and was a nurse for 40 years at Lutheran Hospital in Beaver Dam. She was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam until November 15, 2005 when she moved to Oshkosh and became a member of Grace Lutheran Church. Ardell loved people, especially her family and nothing made her happier than being with them. In her free time she liked to cook, read and take care of her home.

Ardell will be missed and forever remembered by her son-in-law, John Hoffman; grandchildren, Kimberly (Michael) Balas, Pamela (Michael) Isaksson, Stephanie (Scott) Davis; great-grandchildren, Megan, Kaitlin and Erin Isaksson, Benjamin and Haley Davis and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Audrey Hoffman; brothers, Arthur, Willard, Hubert, and Orville Roberts; sisters, Evelyn Guse and Caroline Roberts.

Funeral service for Ardell will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at Grace Lutheran Church, 913 Nebraska Street with Pastor Chadwick Graham officiating. A time of visiting will take place at the church on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
