Beatrice F. Hannan Ziegelbauer, age 86, of Oshkosh, died Tuesday afternoon, June 20, 2006 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on April 24, 1920 in Winneconne to Elmer and Florence (Carow) Teela. Beatrice married George Hannan, who preceded her in death on April 23, 1962, and later married Harold Ziegelbauer, who also preceded her in death on December 17, 1994.
Beatrice was a member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a loyal Chicago Cubs Baseball Fan and when the Cubs weren't playing, Beatrice enjoyed watching golf. From 1970 to 1980, Beatrice worked in the Union Business Office of University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald Hannan of Winneconne, Mark (Barb) Hannan of Oshkosh; stepson, John (Mary) Ziegelbauer of Tucson, Arizona; stepdaughter, Joan (Bob) McClyman of Wisconsin Dells; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, June Schultz of Beaver Dam, and Nancy Jeremias of Sacramento, California. Preceding Beatrice in death are her husbands and one son, Thomas Hannan, on November 24, 2005.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend Thomas Willadsen officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and support will be held on Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Her family would appreciate memorials to First Presbyterian Church in Beatrice's name.
