Colin Mark Hoffmann, age 75, passed away unexpectedly on January 27, 2026, at home. He was born on October 7, 1951, to parents, Burton and Elaine Hoffmann, on a military base in Munich, Germany.
After graduating high school, he continued his education at UW-Oshkosh and obtained several degrees. He formally taught English and German at Horace Mann Middle School in Sheboygan. He returned back to Oshkosh to take care of his parents and aunt in their golden years.
Colin enjoyed traveling, having traveled to Hawaii and Germany and taking yearly trips to Arizona with is mother until her health failed. Colin enjoyed singing and sang at his niece, Kim and nephew, Brad’s weddings. He also sang in the Church choir and as a soloist. He had a love for music and had a vast collection of music albums he enjoyed listening to. Colin also enjoyed DJ’ing at a radio station.
Colin loved his family and friends dearly and had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others.
He is survived by his brother, Brian (Mary) Hoffmann; sister-in-law, Donna Hoffmann; niece, Kim (Chris) Chronister; nephew, Brad (Debbie) Hoffmann; cousin, Linda (Chris) Klein; his best friend, Terrie Westenberger and her family; and several other family members and friends.
Colin is preceded in death by his parents, Burton and Elaine Hoffmann and aunt, Ruth Hoffmann.
A private family service will take place. His final resting place will be at Riverside Cemetery.
