David "Downtown Dave" Koepf, age 66 of Oshkosh died at home on Sunday, March 26, 2006. He was born on August 25, 1939 in Chicago. His parents: Walter E. and Ruth (Wagner) Koepf preceded him in death.

David joined the Navy in 1958, and served until 1961. He was a laborer in Milwaukee. He enjoyed the Fox River and was found near it often. His favorite past times included visiting the river and the city parks to feed the ducks and suntan. He was a loving, caring, generous man who was willing to assist anyone in need. He had a true love for animals, especially Beagle and Bassett hounds.

Downtown Dave is survived by his daughter: Kimberly Koepf; sister: Barbara Varsik; three grandchildren; nieces and nephews; Special friend: Judy Kline; and many other friends. His daughter: Rachal Koepf preceded in death as well as his grandparents.

Funeral Services for David will be held at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, on Friday, March 31, 2006, at 2:00 P.M. Family and friends are invited attend a time of visitation and support at the Funeral Chapel from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the service. A memorial is established.
