Dean D. Heinzl, age 75, of Oshkosh, died Friday morning February 17, 2006 at his home. He was born on December 6, 1930 in Oshkosh to Joseph and Anne (Ruhl) Heinzl. Dean married Geraldine "Gerry" Wenrich on June 7, 1952 in Oshkosh.
Dean was a Maintenance Supervisor for Amoco before his retirement in 1990. He served in the National Guards for 12 years. Dean enjoyed bowling and camping for relaxation.
Survivors include his wife: Gerry Heinzl of Oshkosh; his mother: Anne Heinzl of Oshkosh; four children: Vickie Fuller of Oshkosh; Janet (Charlie) Beard of Saxeville, Wisconsin; Joey (Becky) Heinzl of Oshkosh; Katrina Black of Oshkosh; six grandchildren: Jason and Michelle Fuller, Angela (Joe) Guzman, Becky and Scott Heinzl, Jessie Black; and two great-grandchildren: Kayla and Alexandria Bosse. Preceding Dean in death is his father, grandparents: Henry and Katrina Ruhl; and one uncle: George Ruhl.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday February 23, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Inurnment will be at Lake View Memorial Park.
