Dennis C. Hable, age 75, of Oshkosh, died Saturday morning, June 17, 2006 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. He was born on June 2, 1931 in Oshkosh to Frank and Lucille (Schumacher) Hable. Dennis married Nona Calkins on April 12, 1961 in Oshkosh and she preceded him in death on November 12, 1999.

Leach Corporation employed Dennis for many years as a shipping clerk. He enjoyed building model airplanes along with hunting and fishing.

Survivors include one son, Dennis K. Hable of Oshkosh; three granddaughters, Stephanie, Michelle, and Denise Hable all of South Carolina; three brothers, Wayne Hable of Phoenix, Arizona, John Kametler and Ronald Kametler both of Oshkosh; and one sister, JoAnn Nieman of Oshkosh. Preceding Dennis in death are his wife, Nona, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Inurnment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. A time of visitation and support will be held at the funeral chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
