Diana Farry, age 69, of (NORDHIEM) Oshkosh, died Friday morning, May 18, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Born on March 2, 1943, in Oshkosh, to August and Edna (Messerschmidt) Tiedje, Diana married Bert Farry and he preceded her in death on January 21, 1993.
As a young girl, Diana was employed by Snow Cap, Ardy & Ed's Drive-In, and later as a CNA in home caregiver. As a mother of six children, Diana enjoyed the activities of an active household. Puzzles, movies (horror), and watching crime shows were favorite things to do when time allowed.
Survivors include her six children, Robert Frank of Oshkosh, Roxanne (Tai Huynh) of Neenah, Barbara Frank of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Serena (Kurt) Smith of Oshkosh, Daren (Jennifer) Farry of Oshkosh, and Jenny Farry of Appleton; eight grandchildren, Damien, Richard, Desiree, Nguyen, Lam, Mailynn, Raven, and Thuyvi; a great grandson, Ethan; a sister, Roxana (Ronald) Braasch of Oshkosh; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Ken Hawk of Oshkosh. Preceding Diana in death is her husband, parents, two sisters, Betty Tiedje and Elvira Robbins, and one brother, August Tiedje Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seefeldfuneral.com.
