Donald G. Wilz, age 79, of Omro, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, November 12, 2005 at Bethel Home in Oshkosh where he resided for the past four and a half years. He was born on November 28, 1925 in the Town of Menasha, WI., the son of Andrew and Marie (Dvorak) Wilz. Donald was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omro. He retired from Mercury Marine in 1989 after 30 years of service.

Donnie is survived by one sister, Patricia (Ben) Niemuth of Green Lake; one brother, George Wilz of Omro; one sister in law, Joyce Wilz and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dorothy Fleming and one brother, Andrew Jr. Wilz, all of Omro.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2005, at the funeral home in Omro from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. Burial will follow in the Omro Cemetery. Memorials in Donnie's name may be directed to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Omro.
