Donna Carol Middleton Berndt, age 68, of Oshkosh, died Thursday evening, March 9, 2006 at Aurora Medical Center. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Peace River, Alberta, Canada to Francis and Marion (Masson) Middleton.
Donna was one of the first woman bridge tenders for the State of Wisconsin. She enjoyed crocheting, traveling, dancing, shopping, playing cards, and bingo. Donna always enjoyed a good meal with family and friends. She loved dogs and treated as if they were her kids. Donna's uplifting and positive attitude inspired everyone in her presence.
Survivors include her husband: Robert Berndt; father: Francis Leslie Middleton; four children: Terri Ann Beaulieu of Upland, California; Gary Dell (Ellen) Hout of Monticello, Utah; Vickie Lynn Hout of Cedar City, Utah; Becky Jo (Sean) Smyth of Colorado Springs, Colorado; eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceding Donna in death is her mother: Marion Gertrude Middleton.
Following Donna's wishes, cremation will take place and funeral services will be conducted in Utah. A special thank you by Donna's family to the staff at Northpoint Medical and Rehabilitation Center for their love and care, along with her many friends she made while staying at the center.
