Georgiana H. "Squeaky" Collins, nee Pongratz, of Oshkosh, passed away at Mercy Medical Center with family and friends by her side on Saturday, January 30, 2016. She was born in Wisconsin Rapids on September 19, 1946 the daughter of the late George and Viola (Roseno) Pongratz. Georgiana worked for Morgan Products Limited in Oshkosh for 41 years. Her relaxation often involved crocheting afghans, and going to Haase's Supper Club with her family enjoy a steak and celebrate her birthday. Squeaky will be remembered for her kind heart, and being with her family. She will be dearly missed by her family along with her dog, Sammy, and cat, Chloe.Georgiana is survived by her daughter, Sandra (James) Cartmill of Berlin; siblings: George (Darlene) Pongratz of Milladore, David Pongratz of Oshkosh, Jerome (Sharon) Pongratz of Poy Sippi, Caroline (Steve) Hobbs of Oshkosh, Karen (Rick) Beyer of Wabash, IN, and Lester (Jane) Pongratz of Berlin; former husband, Maynard Collins of Omro; and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Jimmy Pongratz and Michael Pongratz; and infant nephew, Danny Pongratz.The Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2016 at ST. MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 730 Madison Ave., Omro. Friends and family will be received at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Mass. Burial will be in Omro Cemetery. The family extends a special thank you to Dr. Al Fischer, and the doctors, nurses and staff at Mercy Medical Center I.C.U. for their wonderful care.
