Glenn Blackburn Sr., age 78, of Neenah and formerly of Oshkosh, died Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Vallhaven Care Center. Born on August 6, 1933, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Willis and Dorothy (Schultz) Blackburn, Glenn married Georgia Kallin on May 25, 1963, at Santa Barbara, California.
During the Korean War, Glenn served with the U.S. Navy Marines. He was employed as an aide at Winnebago State Hospital before moving to Santa Barbara where he was a postal clerk for the U. S Postal Service. After his retirement Glenn moved back to Oshkosh where he was a member of Club 13 and the VFW. He enjoyed golfing and bowling for relaxation.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia, five sons, two daughters, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and two sisters. Preceding Glenn in death are his parents, a daughter, a sister, and three brothers.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
