Irene A. Martin, age 87 of Oshkosh, died at Bethel Home on Monday, April 9, 2007. She was born on September 4, 1919, to Herman and Anna (Miller) Martin. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church all of her life. She was a talented seamstress and worked at C.A. Neuberger's for many years where she was a member of the United Garment Workers Union.

Irene is survived by 21 nieces and nephews; many great-nieces and nephews; and sister-in-law, Eunice Martin. Her parents preceded her in death as well as five brothers: Theodore, Gilbert, Lester, Norman, and Reuben; and three sisters: Emma Gabrielson, Elda Raddatz, and Irma Showers.

Funeral services for Irene will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, Reverend Nancy Krueger officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral chapel for sharing of memories from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery.
