Obituary

Jean D. Nottleman, age 71, of Oshkosh, died Friday evening, April 27, 2007 at Bethel Home. She was born on April 14, 1936 in Oshkosh to Henry and Bertha (Schunk) Nottleman. Jean was a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church. She was employed at Wisconsin Bell, Muza Metal Products, was a switchboard operator at Winnebago Mental Health, Pioneer Resort, and lastly was a switchboard operator at Mercy Medical Center. Jean enjoyed knitting afghans (regular and baby size) for family and friends, watching the Packers, watching her nephews baseball games, baking and cooking, and time spent with family around the kitchen table.


Survivors include a sister, Helen (Jerald) Discher of Neshkoro; two nephews, David (Michelle) Discher of Sun Prairie, Richard (Elyse) Discher of Appleton; a step-sister, Donna Resheske of Oshkosh; and other cousins and step-nieces and nephews. Preceding Jean in death are her parents and step-father, Edmund Resheske.


Per Jean's wishes there will be no public visitation or services and private family services will be held.
