John A. Kerwin, age 50, of Oshkosh, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2006. John was born in Oshkosh, August 17, 1955 to Betty (Jungwirth) and Jerome Kerwin of Oshkosh.

John is preceded in death by his special friends, Cathy, J.C., and King; granddaughter, Felicia Kerwin; grandparents, Joe and Josephine Jungwirth (Kienert) and Harold and Mildred Ahrens Kerwin.

John is survived by a son, John Kerwin; three daughters, Michelle (Richard) Hood, Charity (Troy) Skortz, and Jessica Kerwin; three grandchildren, Paige, Shelby and Gavin; parents, Betty & Jerome Kerwin; sisters, Corrine (Dan) Gerster, Cindy Braun, Ann (Jerry) Frey and Tina Kerwin; brother, Will Kerwin; and many nieces and nephews.

John had worked at Leach Company for 18 years and also worked at Lenox until its closing. He was a member of Local U.A.W. Union # 1108. John fought a courageous battle due to previous work related injuries. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing with his nephews.

Visitation will be held at Lake View Memorial Park in Oshkosh on Saturday, March 25, 2006 from 1:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 P.M.

John- Each day right from the start, you will be forever near and live within our hearts. You have gone to get your Angel wings, but will never be forgotten.
