Katherine A. Mickle died at home on Monday, April 23, 2007. She was born to George and Gertrude (Peth) Koclanis on September 4, 1946.

Katherine loved Family gatherings, especially those that involved extended family picnics. She enjoyed Christmas and would play Christmas music many months of the year. Katherine was a bargain shopper who loved flea markets. She volunteered at Webster- Stanley Elementary where her daughter Nikki attended as well as being involved with the Girl Scouts. Her love for animals will never be forgotten, nor the fact that she was an avid Bears fan.

Katherine is survived by her daughters: Jamie Kay and Nicole Ann Mickle of Oshkosh; their father: John D. Mickle of Illinois; siblings: Nick (Phyllis) Koclanis of Illinois, James (Millie) Koclanis of California, and Ann (Bob) Kelley of Arizona. She is further survived by Nephews: James (Sarah), Jeffery, Jason, Todd (Michelle), and Tim (Jennifer) Koclanis; niece Katrina (Davie) Shield; special family friend to Kathy and her girls for 17 years: Heather Vittal; and many other great-nieces and nephews, friends, and extended family.

Funeral services for Katherine will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. A time of visitation and sharing of memories will be held on Saturday at the funeral chapel from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Webster-Stanley Elementary especially Mrs. S., Mrs. G., and Tanya Schmidt, as well as the residents of Parkside Place.
