Kay Lynn Kohfeldt passed away on October 11, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born in Oshkosh on December 22, 1947, to parents, Frederick and Ruby (Pritz) Wendland.
She graduated from Oshkosh High School, class of 1965. She went on to work at Lennox Candle.
Kay married the love of her life, Alan Kohfeldt on September 2, 1972, they shared over 50 years together; together they raised their son, Kevin. She loved to work in her garden, and listen to music, especially Prince. She also had a deep love of animals. Kay always had time for her family and will be remembered for the love and care she had for them, especially the grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Kevin (Sandy) Kohfeldt; grandchildren, Allison, Lucas and Masen. She is further survived by her sister-in-law, Janet (David) Tomczak; dear lifelong friends, Joyce, Mary and Jan; as well as Mary’s daughter, Jodi.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Alan Kohfeldt; and parents, Frederick and Ruby Wendland.
Visitation will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 338 N. Eagle Street, Oshkosh, WI, on October 17, 2026, from 9:30am to 10:30am and services immediately follow.
