Larry R. Peerenboom, age 58 of Oshkosh, died peacefully, with family by his side, at his home on Tuesday, March 14, 2006. He was born January 23, 1948 in Oshkosh to the late Harvey J. and Julia (Worden) Peerenboom.
Larry enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his grandkids. He served his country as a combat medic in the Army during Vietnam; he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was a corrections officer in Oshkosh until his retirement in 1998.
Larry is survived by his son: Jason (Stacey) Peerenboom; grandson: Dylan; granddaughter: Madison; sister-in-law: Boni Peerenboom; nephews: Mike Peerenboom and Troy (Jamie) Peerenboom; and great-nieces and nephews: Sophie, Koy, and Sloane. His parents; brother: Richard Peerenboom; and great-niece: Chloe Peerenboom preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Larry will be held at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 16, 2006 at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend Martin Carr officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation and support on Thursday at the funeral chapel from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Private family burial service will be at Riverside Cemetery.
