Lisa S. Porter, 46, of Redgranite, passed away in Oshkosh on Thursday, March 9, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Racine on April 23, 1959, daughter of Edwin Fought Sr. and Janis Reynolds Fought. Lisa grew up in Waupaca. She and her former husband, Jay Porter, were married in Texas and had two daughters. Lisa moved back to Wisconsin on her own.
She is survived by her daughters: Jessyca Porter of Waxahachie, Texas and Jamy Porter of Dallas, Texas; grandson: Schuyler Morris; mother: Janis Fought of Waupaca; siblings: Edwin P. (Sue) Fought Jr. of Chester, Iowa, Bonnie (Roger) Bricco of Waupaca, Pauline (Tim) Kruger and Christa Bockin both of Racine; step-mother: Diana Celnar of Racine; nieces and nephews: Larry, Chasidy, Randy, Ashley, Kaylee, James, Dakota and Joshua; aunts and uncles; cousins; and close friends, Carey Scarpace and Drew (Daniel) Staples. Her father: Edwin; niece: Katrina (Darrin) Klepps Pulda; great-niece: Maya Pulda; father-in-law: Bill Porter; Mama Lou; aunt: Betty; and good friend: Dan preceded her in death.
Her family will celebrate her life during a memorial gathering on Monday, March 13th, at 12:00 Noon at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Memorial contributions to her family are appreciated in lieu of floral donations.
