Lois E. Potschaider, age 80, of Tigerton, formerly of Oshkosh, passed away Friday, August 10, 2012. Lois was born on July 16, 1932 to Harvey and Madeline (Geiger) Westphal. She married William "Bill" Potschaider on December 22, 1950. She attended vocational school for three years and learned business education. She worked as a dental assistant and receptionist, then seasonally at Miles Kimball for four years, then at Rohner's as a cleaning person for 12 years. Lois' first love was taking care of her family, home, garden, canning and cooking, sewing clothes, the cabin and dancing.

Lois is loved and will be missed by her sons, Roger (Debbie) Potschaider of Tigerton, Bill (Carrie) Potschaider, Jr. of Tomahawk; grandchildren, Nikki Rae Nett, Kassie Jade Karshney, Jesse Ryan Potschaider, Deena Jean Raddatz and Clover Ives; her aunt and friend, Mary Westphal; special friends, Kim Holmes and Michelle Lewis; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bill; fiancé, Dean Lewis; daughter, Leilani Madeline Karshney, brother, Don Westphal, Sr.; grandsons, Billy Potschaider, Jr. and Shon Potschaider, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The funeral service for Lois will be held at the funeral home on Monday, August 13, 2012, at 7:00 p.m. Visitation for family and friends will be on Monday, August 13, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service. Lois will be laid to rest at Lake View Memorial Park.
