Lorraine H. Barsch, age 92, of Oshkosh, died Monday, April 10, 2006 at Northpoint Medical & Rehabilitation Center. She was born on December 25, 1913 in Oshkosh to Albert and Helen (Marquardt) Barsch.
Lorraine was employed by Heiss Bakery and later by UW-Oshkosh Food Service Department. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, VP's of Peace Lutheran, and a church choir member.
Survivors include a sister: Florence (Harry) Hansen of Oshkosh; two nieces: Vicki (Gary) Weisbrick of Tempe, Arizona; Debra (Steve) Herman of Oshkosh; great-nieces and nephews: Shele Weisbrick, Jason Herman, Amy Herman, and Camron Hauser. Preceding Lorraine in death are her parents, a brother: Norman Barsch, and a great-nephew: Greg Weisbrick.
Following Lorraine's wishes, cremation will take place with no services planned at this time. Memorial expressions of sympathy may be made to Peace Lutheran Church in Lorraine's name.
