Lorraine A. Walotka, age 87, of Oshkosh passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2014 at Century Oaks. Lorraine was born February 20, 1927, in Waupaca, to Kirkwood and Hazel (Lyons) Durrant. She married Edward Walotka in Almond on April 21, 1950. Lorraine enjoyed playing Bingo, going to casinos, word puzzles, gardening, watching birds, especially cardinals, and loved her cat, Oreo.
Lorraine is survived and will be missed by her children, Edward (Sally) Walotka, Jr. of Oshkosh, Jeannie (David) Reynolds of Oshkosh, Shirley (Richard) Geen of Oshkosh, Nancy Spalding of Oshkosh, Donna Stadmueller of Omro, Roger (Teresa) Walotka of Oshkosh, Barbara (Randy) Sawall of Oshkosh, Randy (Julie) Walotka of Oshkosh; daughter in law, Pat Durrant of Berlin; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; brothers, Everette (Ruth) Durrant, Kenneth (Donna) Durrant and Willard (Pauline) Durrant; special family friends, Steven Spalding and Michael Miller; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; son, Ward Durrant; granddaughter, Nicole Marie Geen and sister, Charlotte (Merritt) Fisk.
A funeral service for Lorraine will be held at the Seefeld Funeral Chapel, 1025 Oregon St., on Friday, May 2, 2014 at 12:00 Noon, with Rev. Timothy Greenwald officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Lorraine will be laid to rest at Minckler Cemetery.
