Lucille A. (Wrasse) Drapp, age 92, of Oshkosh, went home to be with her Lord, on Thursday, August 2, 2012. Born on May 19, 1920 in Richford Township, Waushara County, to Emil and Lydia (Fierke) Wrasse, Lucille graduated from Westfield High School in 1937. She moved to Oshkosh in 1940 and served with the U.S. Coast Guard from 1943-1945 while her husband served with the U.S. Navy. Later Lucille was employed in the shipping/receiving department of Kline's Department Store in Oshkosh.
Left to mourn Lucille's passing are three sons, William Drapp of Oshkosh, Robert (Mary Ann) Drapp of Winter Haven, Florida, and John Drapp of Oshkosh; a grandson, Matthew Drapp of Florida; a sister, Gertrude (Alton ) Burnhardt of Black River Falls, Wisconsin; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Drapp Jr. in 1962.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, with Reverend Randall King officiating. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial Park where full military honors will be given. A time of visiting and sharing of memories will be held on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
