Lucille M. Grunwald, age 92, of Wellington, Florida and formerly of Oshkosh, died Thursday evening, March 30, 2006 at JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. She was born on August 22, 1913 in Oshkosh to Albert and Clara (Hable) Heidl. Lucille married Eddie Grunwald on October 24, 1929 in Waukegan, Illinois and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1995.
Lucille was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was employed by Miles Kimball Company for 35 years, lastly in the managerial department.
Survivors include three grandchildren - Gayle (Wendell) O'Connell of Wellington, Florida, Laurie (Marty) Wegmann of Port Washington, Lee (Michelle) Gruenwald of Milwaukee; a daughter-in-law, Maggie Gruenwald of Racine; three step-grandchildren - Jennifer (Scott) Sisul of St. Louis, Ed (Heather) of Springfield, Mass., Karoline (Cristian) Meng and 5 great-grandchildren - Kayla O'Connell of Milwaukee, Brenna O'Connell of West Palm Beach, FL, Aaron O'Connell of Wellington, FL, Sara Gruenwald of New York , NY and Bridget Sisul of St. Louis. Preceding Lucille in death are her husband; parents; two sons: Myron Grunwald and Stanley Grunwald; a daughter-in-law Norma Gruenwald, and a brother, Albert Heidl.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, with Reverend Jeff Knoll officiating. Interment will take place in Lake View Memorial Park. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Her family is establishing a memorial in Lucille's name.
