Lula C. Edminster, nee Larson, age 97, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Milwaukee. She was born on August 20, 1908 to John and Mamie Hawk Larson in St. MaryÂ's, Kansas. Lula was a long time resident of Omro. Lula taught school in Waupaca, Omro and Oshkosh. She was a member of the Omro First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband George; her son, Eugene; her brother, Wilbur Larson; and sister, Celia Steinbock.

Lula is survived by her son, Harvey Edminster of Milwaukee; daughters in law, Mary Lou Edminster, and Iva Mae Edminster of Milwaukee; her six grandchildren, Diane (Bob) Goldschmidt, Debra (Tom) Schwei, Denise (Dan) Osterkorn, David (Becka) Edminster, Douglas (Tammy) Edminster and Dan Edminster. She is further survived by ten great grandchildren; her sisters, Genevieve Edminster of Omro and Margaret Hirte of Indiana, and sister in law, Lila Larson of Waupaca.

Visitation for Lula will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at Noon at the First Presbyterian Church, 955 N. Webster Ave., Omro, with Rev. Mara L. Rivera officiating. Burial will be in the Omro Cemetery.
