Margaret Irene Doughty, age 93, of Oshkosh, died Friday, July 22, 2005, at Oshkosh Medical and Rehab Center. She was born May 3, 1912, in Eau Claire County, to John and Margaret (Emerson) Yule. She married Harvey Arthur Doughty on January 6, 1940. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1976.
Margaret was a member of Borth United Methodist Church. She and her husband were active in Masonic Service for many years.
She is survived by: her son, Dr. Dennis Doughty of Zanzibar, Tanzania; niece, Betty Yule of Oshkosh; and other nieces and nephews. Two sisters and six brothers precede her in death.
Funeral services for Margaret will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 300 North Eagle Street, the Reverend George Groves officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation and support at the Seefeld Funeral Chapel on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park.
