Margaret J. Wilson, age 82, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2005 at Omro Care Center. Margaret was born on February 9, 1923 in Irma, Wisconsin to Walter and Florence (Winchester) Benson. On August 5, 1944 she married Lloyd "Lucky" Wilson. She worked at Wagners Manufacturing in Winneconne for over 20 years. Margaret loved Sunday rides, visits from relatives, listening to polka music and playing 500 rummy. Margaret will best be remember for her way of making others feel special, with a smile, a wave or an "I love you". Even in her later years, when her health declined, Margaret faced it all with a tremendous will to live and without a single complaint.
Margaret is survived by her two daughters, Sandra (David) Bushman of Appleton, Judy (Kenneth) Reimer of Omro, her sons, Larry (Bernadyne) Wilson of Redgranite and Raymond Wilson of Oshkosh; thirteen grandchildren and twenty six great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Mabel Johnson of Merrill, Leonard Benson of Merrill, Clarence Benson of Section, Alabama, Edith (Jack) Shook of Irma, David Benson of Missouri; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd, on February 23, 1997, her brothers and sisters, John Benson, George Benson, Harold Benson, Norman Benson, Nellie Collins and Ethel Griffin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2005 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Omro Funeral Home, and again on Thursday, August 11, 2005 at the funeral home, from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jack Shook officiating. Burial will follow in North Rushford Cemetery.
