Obituary

Marian Frances Tripp, age 90, of Bella Vista Assisted Living, 631 Hazel Street, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, was called to be with her Savior on March 21, 2013. Prior to moving to Wisconsin in 2010, she lived in Saginaw, Michigan, all her life. Marian was born on March 19, 1923, in Saginaw, a daughter of William and Blanche (Satava) Bremer. She attended St. Paul's Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1940. On October 10, 1943, Marian married Warren B. Tripp at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saginaw and he survives her.
Employed by General Motors for 23 years she worked in several office positions. She was a very active and dedicated member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church where she faithfully served as a volunteer for many groups. Marian sang in the church choir, taught Sunday School for 35 years, volunteered in the school's Read program. Lead Lutheran Pioneer Girls' groups, and visited the elderly.
She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Sue and Lee Terrain of Bullhead City, Arizona, and Nancy and Gary Becker of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Marian is further survived by five grandchildren and their children, Daniel Terrain; Robert Becker and children, Keenan, Riley, and Nathan; Laura (Brent) Nolte and children, Gabrielle, Karissa, and Brianna; Sarah (Peter) Davies, and Paul Becker.
Preceding Marian in death is an infant son, William, a grandson, Thomas Becker, a granddaughter, Jennifer Terrian, a great granddaughter, Crystal Rose Terrian, a brother, Donald, and infant brothers, William, Richard, and Bruce.
A private family memorial service will be held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, with Reverend David Pagel of Immanuel Lutheran Church officiating. A special thank you by Marian's family to Reverend Pagel, the staff of Bella Vista Manor, and Affinity Hospice of Oshkosh for their invaluable help while caring for Marian during her final days. Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saginaw, Michigan, Michigan Lutheran Seminary, or Affinity Hospice.
