Obituary

Marjorie "Mag" Marion Hart, age 92, of Oshkosh, formerly of Winneconne, passed away early Sunday morning, June 10, 2012. She was born November 4, 1919, in Madison, WI, the daughter of Marshall and Lydia (Baum) Grant. Marjorie moved to Eureka with her family in 1926 and attended Eureka State Grade School and Berlin High School. She married Clifford C. Hart at the Methodist Church in Oshkosh on December 14, 1938. Through the years, Marjorie worked at Oshkosh Wood Products, Pluswood and retired from Electric Products in Winneconne. She was a volunteer at the hospital until her health declined at which point she crafted many products from home which were donated and sold in the hospital gift shop. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, picking hickory nuts and in her earlier years - ice fishing with her friend, Carol Carnell. She enjoyed traveling and visiting friends and family. We were blessed to have her in our lives and will always remember her laughter and warm smile. We will always love you grandma.

Marjorie is survived by her son, Cliff, Jr. of Oshkosh; her granddaughters, Cindy (Don) Lamson, Connie (Pat) Schoonover, Karen Johnston, Susie (Gary) DeWitt, Tammy (Kevin) Striektstra; grandsons, Jim, Mike (Kim), Jerry and John (Shelby) Hart; great grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) Kautzer, Chad (Erin) Schoonover, Julie Schoonover, Audrey and Hunter Lamson, Ashley and Amy Hart, Nick, Noah, Jacob, Courtney, Sidney, Chandler; sister, Monona Lewellyn; brother, John "Bud" Grant; sister in law, June (Jim) Thorsen, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Clifford; son, Robert; her brothers, Kenneth (Betty) Grant, Lowell (Kate) Grant; sisters, Joann (Don) Hammon, Lois (Wally) Lee and June (Vernon) Wesner; brother in law, Lynn Lewellyn; and sister in law, Peggy Grant.

The family would like to thank the staff at Sterling House and Affinity Hospice for the care and support they provided the past few months.

Graveside memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Waukau Cemetery. (Please meet directly at the cemetery). A memorial in her name has been established.
