Mary A. Koss, age 86 on Monday morning, October 31, 2005 became reunited with family members, who preceded her in death. She was born in Republic, Pennsylvania, on December 14, 1918 to Walter and Anna (Kocijancic) Kunich. She married Joseph L. Koss in Oshkosh on April 15, 1944.
Mary was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and the Aquinas Club. Great-Grandma Sunshine especially loved children. She enjoyed befriending people, writing letters, knitting and ceramics. She also attended social events, was an avid reader, and loyal Packer Fan.
Mary is survived by her son: Jim (Judy) Koss and their children: Jennifer, Peggy (Armando) Martinez and their children Samuel and Alejandro, and Lisa (Kyle) Dunning and their children Connor and Trevor. Mary is further survived by her daughter: Mary Ann (Daniel) Wagner and their children: Betsy, Andy (Nicole), and Katie. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph and son, Richard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Oshkosh for Mary at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 2, 2005, at St. Peter Catholic Church, 435 High Avenue, Father Neil Zintherfer of Campbellsport officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held at the church on Wednesday from 4:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Inurnment will be in Riverside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in the names of Mary and Joe to Simply Smiles (Oaxaca, Mexico Orphanage).
