Mary Matsche

Mary Jean Matsche, 99, passed away on June 16, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born to parents, Joseph and Mary (Troiber) Matsche on March 29, 1927, in Oshkosh, WI.
She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mary also was a proud member of the Ladies Altar Society, S.A.L.T. (Seniors and Lawmen Together) and UWO Alumni Association. She also enjoyed playing cards, painting and gardening. She taught at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years.
Mary is survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Preceding her in death are her four sisters, Loretta Matsche, Alice (Richard) Hunt, Doris (Russell) Lenz and Anna Matsche.
A visitation will be held at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church – 519 Old Knapp Rd, on Monday June 22, 2026, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with catholic mass to follow.
Mary will be laid to rest next to her sister, Anna Matsche at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Oshkosh, WI, following mass.
