Mildred “Millie” Neubauer, 74, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on June 13, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on August 28, 1951, to parents, Walter and Anna (Dahlke) Neubauer in Berlin, WI.
Millie loved to spend time with her family and her dogs. In her youth she played as a catcher for a local softball team with her sister Jean, and also enjoyed crochet, bowling, fishing and never missed a Green Bay Packers game. She also always loved playing Cribbage with her siblings.
She was the kind of person who loved deeply and gave so much of herself to everyone around her. As the loving mother she was our greatest source of comfort, strength, and unconditional love.
Millie always looked forward to seeing her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were one of her pride and joys in life.
The world feels a little less bright without her, but her love will live on in each of us forever.
She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved and forever carried in our hearts. Rest in peace and fly high watch over us mommy. We love you and will miss you dearly.
Millie is survived by her children, Ken (Diane) Schroeder, Geri Ann (Bob) Cayer, Angela (Dana) Daugherty, Tammy (Mike) Mathe and John Schroeder; grandchildren, Lance, Lizzi, Amber, Trevor, Morgan and Cheyenne; 12 great-grandchildren; sister and best friend, Jean Coulson; niece, Annamae “Brain” (Mike) Caswell; nephew, Matt (April) Chappa; brothers, Wally Jr. (Sue) Neubauer, William (Nancy) Neubauer, John (Mary Lou) Neubauer and Jerry (Carrie) Neubauer; her former husband and also best friend, Don Weyenberg; good friend, Ruth; and her beloved dog, Chico; she is further survived by many other family and friends.
She is preceded by her brothers, Augie Neubauer and Eddie Neubauer; parents, Walter and Anna; brother-in-law, Steve Coulson; nephews, EJ and Curtis; and beloved dogs, Wishbone and Angel.
Whenever you see a butterfly think of her visiting; every time it storms, she will be up there bowling with the angels and every beautiful sunny day, she will be riding around in her yellow convertible mustang.
It’s not goodbye, it’s love you, later.
