Nadine L. "Sally" Anstett, age 84, of Omro, died early Friday morning, May 29, 2009, at the Omro Care Center. Sally was born March 24, 1925, in Baraboo, the daughter of Ray and Minnie Meyer Owens. She married Emmett Anstett on February 1, 1947, in Baraboo. Sally was a very giving and caring person who was always helping others. One of her greatest loves in life was her family. She lived for her children and grandchildren. Family and friends will remember her great spirit when it came to cooking, crocheting, bowling and gardening. In addition to being busy with her family, Sally also volunteered at the Omro Community Center.

Sally is loved and will be missed by her husband, Emmett; children, Mike (Terri) Anstett of Omro, Mary (Phil) Johnsen of Muskego, Thomas (Laury) Anstett of Wauwatosa, Kathy (fiancé Kevin Villwock) Anstett of Oconomowoc and Tim (Donna) Anstett of South Milwaukee. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Erin (Brian) Fuller, Allison (fiancé Ian Hansen) Anstett, David (Jessica) Johnsen, Katie & Jenny Johnsen, Ana-Maria Anstett, Daniel, Sean and Megan Anstett; great grandchildren, Willem Fuller and Lucas Johnsen; in laws, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dorothy and Maxine and brothers, Ray and Bob.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the funeral home in Omro from 3:00 P.M. until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:30 P.M. with Sr. Pam Biehl officiating.
