Obituary

Normond L. Campbell, age 84, of Waukau, died peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, July 25, 2007. He was born on April 1, 1923 in Lynxville, WI the son of Frederick and Josie (Tichenor) Campbell. Norm was a graduate of Sparta High School and was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran. He married Mary Helen (Friedel) on February 10, 1944 at Truax Field in Madison, WI. Norm had worked as a Supervisor for Well's Manufacturing, a manufacturer of auto parts. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Omro and the V.F.W. of Fond du Lac. In his spare time, Norm enjoyed working in his shop, woodworking and traveling. He also enjoyed gardening, especially flower gardening and very much loved being with all his grandchildren.

Norm is loved and will be missed by his wife, Mary Helen; sons, David (Mary) of Augusta , Maine, Stephen (Juniette) of Winneconne, Paul of Oshkosh, Edward (Jennifer) of Neenah and L. Shawn (Rose) of Oshkosh; daughters, Mary Jo (Jeff) Chriske of Omro, Carole (Joe) Dorsch of Pickett and Margaret of Waupun; sisters, Elaine Cook of Sturgis, MI and Edna Hengel of LaCrosse; brother, Charlie of Sauk City; brother in law, Roy Friedel of Fond du lac; sister in law, Marie Friedel of Menomonee Falls; 26 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Greyling; 4 brothers, 2 sisters, a brother in law and sister in law.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 E. Scott St., Omro at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. A memorial in Norm's name has been established.
