Patrick Ruedinger

May 7, 1951 — Jun 13, 2026

Patrick J. Ruedinger, 75, passed away on June 13, 2026. He was born to parents, Aloys and Ellen (Himmler) Ruedinger on May 7, 1951, in Oshkosh, WI.

Pat loved entertaining family and friends at his house. His love for family was a large part of his life, from playing sheepshead with his sons, to spending time with the grandchildren. He was so proud to be the best man at each of his son’s weddings.

Pat had a huge heart. His generosity included money-toss at Christmas and Easter-Egg hunts for the kids, his famous “Red, White, and Blue” parties for the adults. Most times, you had to fight him for the check or to buy a drink.

Pat was an amazingly talented carpenter with over 35 years dedicated to honing his craft as co-owner of Packer Valley Builders with his brother Phil. His mind was always dreaming up new projects, sometimes with highly creative designs and scale.

Finally, Pat was an accomplished entrepreneur. While Packers Pub was perhaps his most cherished venture, he was co-owner of several others throughout his career as well.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 35 years, Bev; sons, Pat (Stacey) and Adam (Serenity); daughter, Amie; granddaughters, Madeline and Liz; grandson, Patrick; very special God-son, Mike (Carmen); God-daughter Hollie; and close sister-in-law Wendy. He is further survived by several brothers, sisters, and many other family and friends. Pat is preceded by his parents, Aloys and Ellen Ruedinger; in-laws Warren and Marilyn Johnson; brother Ronnie (Barb); sister Donna; sister-in-law Ann; brother-in-law Jim and Russ; and many other close family and friends.

Per his wishes, there will not be a formal service, instead there will be a celebration of life at a later date.
