?? Paul J. Poellinger Sr., age 92, of Oshkosh went home with our Lord on Thursday, September 21, 2006 with his family at his side. He was born on August 8, 1914 in Oshkosh to Ferdinand and Agnes (Merslanvitch) Poellinger. Paul was the last of 11 children. Paul married Nona M. Collier in 1940 and she preceded him in death on October 6, 2003. ?? Paul was employed by WPS, was a member of their Men's Club and a member of the WPS Bowling Team City Champions. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, stamp collecting and he was well known for his grape wine making. Paul served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Force. ?? Survivors include his children: Nancy Poellinger, Marlena Erhard, James Poellinger (Lucy), David (Bonnie) Poellinger, and Paul J. (Sandra) Poellinger Jr; grandchildren: Steven (Lori) Poellinger, Andrew Poellinger, Heather (Patrick) Konen, Michele Poellinger, David John Poellinger, Robert Erhard, J.D. (Melissa) Erhard, Joshua Erhard, Matthew Erhard and Jennifer Bass; 11 great-grandchildren; nephews, Chuck Dahe, Ed Pellinger, Richard Pellinger, Gerald Marsh, Tom Pellinger, Steve Pellinger and Lane Pellinger; and nieces, Karen Dahe and Raelynn Rein. ?? A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 29th, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 442 Monroe Street, with the Rev. Robert Stegmann officiating. A time of visitation and support will be held from 1-2:30 PM on Friday at the Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street. Inurnment will take place at Lake View Memorial Park at 11:00 AM on Saturday with military honors given by the United Veterans Honor Guard.
