Roberta “Bobbie” Kerr Sohr, age 92, passed away on June 1, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born on December 17, 1933, to parents, Hassell and Stella (Kerr) Vaughn. One of three children.
After high school, Bobbie continued her education at UW- Stevens Point and obtained a Bachelor of Education.
On April 20, 1957, she married the love of her life, Charles Sohr on an Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama.
Bobbie worked as an elementary teacher in Manitowoc, then later as the President of the Mercy Medical Center Credit Union and then the President of the Oshkosh B’ Gosh Credit Union.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing bridge and was very active in her Church. She loved the beauty of art and flowers. She also played the piano and was an avid fan of the Packers and Brewers.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Nancy) Sohr of Mesa, AZ; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Helen (Roger) Bintz of Green Bay, WI; and several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Charles Sohr; son, Todd Sohr; brother, David Vaughn; parents, Hassell and Stella (Kerr) Vaughn; and In-laws, Wayne and Beverly Sohr.
Visitation will be held at Plymouth Congregational Church, 1325 Georgia St, Oshkosh, WI, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 10:00am to 11:00am. Service will follow at Church at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate in her honor to the deaconess at Plymouth Church, Oshkosh.
