Rose Ann (Konow) Smith, age 91, passed away on March 5, 2026, in Oshkosh, WI. She was born to parents, Jenor Konow Sr. and Ardise Mary (Searle) Konow, on November 19, 1934, in WI.
She graduated high school and went on to college to obtain a Secretary Certificate. Over the years, she worked as a Secretary, Custodian, Quality Control Inspector and a Homemaker.
On February 15, 1956, she married the love of her life, Kenneth E. Smith. Together, they raised four children.
In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, knitting, birdwatching, going to play Bingo, playing cribbage, bowling, solving jigsaw puzzles and participating in Citizens Marksmanship. Family was most important to her, she cherished taking walks with her husband, children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth E. Smith; children, Pam (Charles) Daker, Wade R. Smith and Bruce W. (Anna) Smith; grandchildren, Amber, April, Jessica, Desiree, Ryan and Ricky; grandson-in-law, Joseph O’ Brien; great-grandchildren, Joseph, Dacre and Bennett; brother, Jenor Konow Jr.; sister, Fern Benedict; sister-in-law, Jane Tennant; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death was her daughter, Kathy Smith; parents, Jenor Konow Sr. and Ardise Mary (Searle) Konow; brother, Harvey (Judy) Konow; and sister, Bessie (David Jacobsen.
Private services will be held at a future date for immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association in her honor.
