"Grandpa, when you came to live with us 6 months ago, it was really a blessing we didn't expect. With as much fear as we had of our lives being disrupted, we now see every disruption as a blessing returned to us tenfold. We gave you our promise that you would never spend another day in a nursing home, that when you would die you would die here at home with us. Grandpa, because of God's grace and nothing else- we were able to keep our promise. Thank you for teaching us how much family really matters and for helping us to see that doing what is right even when you don't feel like it is the best choice. We will miss you. Grandpa- now you know "It's true!""
