Valerie Gene (Neeyan) Lund met her Lord and Savior on August 8, 2026, at Lakeshore Manor of Oshkosh, WI. Born on September 25, 1946, to Harold N. and Audrie (Bub) Neeyan.
Valerie attended Elementary through High School in Milwaukee, WI, later attending Moraine Park Technical College in Beaver Dam, WI, where she acquired her Certified Nursing Assistant License.
On October 17, 1970, Valerie was married to Manual E. Lund. They were married for 30 years.
Valerie worked in the Beaver Dam School District as a Teacher’s Aide at Head Start and then at Prairieview Elementary as a Teacher’s Aide for Special Education combined for 30 years.
She had numerous hobbies including art of any kind, nature experiences like hiking and camping, reading, singing in Church choir, horseback riding and raising animals including poultry, sheep, goats, cats and her beloved dogs.
Valerie is survived by her children, Travis Lund and Keri (Fred) Prueter; former husband, Manual E. Lund; former sister-in-law, Kay Brandt; and aunt, Darlene Saadoff.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
A celebration of life is planned for Friday, August 21, 2026, at Peace Lutheran Church, 400 Hillcrest Drive, Beaver Dam, WI 53916, with service beginning at 1pm and reception following services.
