Van Jarchow, age 11, Township of Black Wolf, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, Wisconsin from injuries sustained in a vehicular/pedestrian accident. Van was a very special eleven-year old and everyone who knew him would tell you so. His personality sparkled. Friendships were important to him. He knew he was loved because we told and showed him everyday. Van was an exceptionally kind and loving person. He attended Lakeside Elementary School.

A light has gone from our lives and a new angel is in heaven. Thank you to Dr. Burkett and his medical team as well as our loving family and friends.
Van is survived by his parents, Mike and Dixie Jarchow; his brother, Mike; grandparents, Earl and Sally Jarchow, Pete Philippe, and Dee and Arnie Fick. Surviving aunts and uncles include Kris Mitchell, Cale (Jennifer) Fick, A.J. Fick, Kate Philippe, Georgia Philippe, and Maggie Maloney, along with numerous cousins. Preceding Van in death is his maternal grandmother, Helen Larimore Philippe.
A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street.
