Verna L. Hildebrand, age 78, of Oshkosh, died Thursday morning, November 29, 2012, at her home. Born on March 1, 1934, near Eldorado, Wisconsin, to Otto and Grace (Nelson) Maliske, Verna married David J. Hildebrand on November 8, 1952. David preceded Verna in death on January 11, 1986. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Jeanette Parks.
Left to mourn her passing are two sons, Dennis (Gloria) Hildebrand of Oshkosh and Jeff (Jeannie) Hildebrand of Phillips, Wisconsin; a daughter, Michele (Larry) Sweers of Mauston, Wisconsin; five grandchildren, Melissa Hildebrand, Kelly Nourse, Carrie Hildebrand, Daniel Suchorski, and Jake Suchorski; two great-grandchildren, Skylar and Keira Nourse; a sister, Dorothy Koplitz and several nieces/nephews.
Private family services will be held with interment in the Omro Cemetery. A special thank you to the wonderful nurses and staff on 2nd floor at Aurora Medical Center, Aurora Visiting Nurses, and Aurora Hospice Nurses, for the gentle care given to Verna during her illness.
